The asset investigation into the Chief of Staff has gained dramatic momentum following the testimonial statement of a key figure in the plot. He Manuel Adorni Case is at a turning point after Matías Tabar, the contractor in charge of remodeling the official's property in the exclusive country Indio Cuá, revealed compromising details about the payment method and the amounts involved in the works.
Tabar appeared at the federal courts of Comodoro Py before 11 in the morning, responding to the summons of prosecutor Gerardo Pollicita. During his statement, the builder provided relevant documentation, including “before and after” photographs and videos of the 400-square-meter property located in Exaltación de la Cruz. The evidence seeks to support his statements about the magnitude of the repair and the associated costs, which, according to his testimony, were paid entirely outside the legal financial circuit.
The Manuel Adorni Case and the shadow of cash
The most shocking revelation de Tabar focused on the amount and form of payments received. He contractor insured under oath that Manuel Adorni gave him a total of 5,000 in cash between the end of 2024 and July 2025. This sum, delivered by hand and without the issuance of official receipts or invoices, raises serious suspicions about the origin and traceability of the funds. funds used by the second most important official in the Executive Branch.
The defense of the Chief of Staff, represented by lawyer Matías Ledesma, closely followed the statement and reviewed each paper presented by the witness. Tabar also handed over his mobile phone so that a backup copy of his WhatsApp conversations with Adorni can be made, although the device will be subjected to a rigorous technical examination due to the previous deletion of messages, a detail that adds another layer of suspicion to the Manuel Adorni Case.
A real estate budget under the magnifying glass of Justice
The remodeling in Indio Cuá included high-end work: comprehensive renovation of the entrance, gallery and garage; replacement of floors with porcelain tiles; plastering and interior painting; tarquini-type exterior coating; grill reform; and a complete remodeling of the pool, to which a waterfall was added. Significant work was also carried out in the kitchen, including new countertops, an island and breakfast bar, as well as lighting adjustments and general improvements.
However, the USD 245,000 of the work is only part of the foreign exchange flow that Justice is investigating. During the renovation period, the Adorni family rented another property in the same private neighborhood for a total of ,000. Added to this are other financial movements under analysis: an advance of USD 30,000 for an apartment in Caballito, the initial payment of USD 25,000 for Indio Cuá's house, and USD 10,000 in notary fees.
Suspicious debts and loans
The investigation patrimonial also focuses on the liabilities reported by the official. Adorni maintains a debt for the purchase of Indio Cuá's house, which he partially covered with a loan of ,000 granted by two members of the forces. Police, to whom it pays monthly interest of between 900 and 600 dollars from November 2024. This loan scheme with individuals, instead of regulated banking entities, is another point that the prosecutor Pollicita searches clarify
In total, the budget allocated by Adorni to real estate transactions and remodeling exceeds 0,000 in a short period. Tabar's revelations about "black" payments not only complicate the procedural situation of the Chief of Staff in the case of alleged illicit enrichment, but also raise a deep question about the ethics and transparency in the management of funds by senior management política.
