The consulting firm Factum released a new measurement of Orsi's approval as president and recorded a drop of two points between June and August, while disapproval remained stable and neutral assessments increased. According to the survey presented on VTV Noticias, by August 2025 approval reaches 44%, neutral assessment 33% and disapproval 22%, with 1% who did not know or did not answer.
In the June survey, approval was 46%, neutral assessment 31% and disapproval 22%. Factum interprets this increase in neutral opinions as a high proportion of citizens who are neither in approval nor disapproval five months after the start of the government, and maintains that the overall balance remains positive.
The consulting firm attributes this relative indifference to the short time in office and the absence of a strong imprint on the government agenda, which it defines as a cautious start with few announcements and without profound transformations. When disaggregating by vote in October 2024, Factum points out that 75% of those who voted for the Frente Amplio approve of the management and only 4% disapprove of it; among coalition voters, 16% approve and 41% disapprove.
The report highlights that presidential support is strongly conditioned by the previous vote and that there is low transversality beyond the official electorate. A relevant fact, the consulting firm points out, is that opposition voters do not turn massively towards disapproval and explain a large part of the volume of neutral evaluations.
In summary, despite slight changes compared to the previous measurement, Factum considers that Orsi's approval levels do not present substantial variations. The survey was carried out by mobile phone between July 21 and August 4 with 900 cases; The margin of error is +/- 1.7% (1 sigma) and +/- 3.3% (2 sigma). For its part, the consulting firm Opción presented a measurement that marks 43% of neutral evaluation, 29% that considers the management very good or good and 22% that judges it very bad or bad; another 6% did not know or did not answer. Opción explains that the predominance of neutral evaluations is linked to the short time that has passed and the perception of the absence of significant changes, consistent with a beginning of the mandate without major legislative initiatives or decrees that generated public debate.
