At least two people have been killed in new Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire in force, Palestinian sources have reported.
One person has died in the Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern Gaza Strip. The deceased has been identified as Bahyat Abu Al Aish, reports the Palestinian newspaper 'Filastín'.
On the other hand, one person has died in an attack by an Israeli drone in the vicinity of the Al Umari mosque, in the center of the Gaza Strip, reports the Palestinian news portal Quds.
Palestinian medical sources have also reported the death of a minor, Duaa Muhamad Suleiman Rahim, who died on Saturday morning as a result of wounds from an Israeli firearm suffered a few days ago in Deir al Bala, in the center of the Strip.
There has also been firing by Israeli forces east of the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, and Israeli warships have opened fire on Gaza City.
There have also been artillery shells fired east of Khan Younis, in the south of the Palestinian enclave, and there have been new demolitions in the east of the Gazan capital.
Two other people were killed on Friday night by Israeli artillery fire near the Kamal Aduan Hospital in northern Gaza. And seven more people died, including two police officers and two assistants, in an attack by Israeli aircraft against a police vehicle in Khan Younis. Two other police officers were killed in a bombing in the northwest of Gaza City.
This same Saturday, the health authorities of Gaza, controlled by Hamas, confirmed another 17 deaths in Israeli attacks during the days of Thursday and Friday, to which another 32 wounded must be added.
A total of 809 people have been killed and 2,267 wounded since the October ceasefire, according to the Ministry of Health's concrete figures on casualties in Israeli attacks. Health authorities have confirmed the recovery of 761 bodies.
Since the outbreak of the Gaza war, Israeli attacks have already left a total of approximately 72,585 dead and 172,370 injured, according to the Ministry's count.
