CaixaBank executes almost 54% of its share buyback in the ninth week of the program

CaixaBank has executed 53.47% of its share buybacks in the ninth week of the program, the maximum amount of which has been set at €500 million, according to a report by the bank to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).

Specifically, in this new week of the program, it has acquired 2,237,802 titles, at a weighted average price of 8.6738 euros and a value of 19.4 million euros.

Thus, in the first nine weeks of this program, the entity has repurchased 34,941,559 shares, representing a total of €267,366,559.

CaixaBank announced this new share buyback program, its sixth, last January and launched it on June 16.

The program manager is Goldman Sachs, which will make its own decisions regarding the timing of the securities purchases.

In any case, CaixaBank has reported that no more than 25% of the average daily volume of shares in the trading venue where the purchase is made may be purchased on any trading day, with the average daily volume of each trading venue being that corresponding to the twenty trading days prior to the date of each purchase.

The program will last a maximum of six months from its start date.
