Young Uruguayan man disappears in Córdoba after buying a ticket to Uruguay
Bryan Mathías Espínola Olivieri, 27, last communicated with his mother on Tuesday, September 9, from the Córdoba . He had purchased a ticket to return to Montevideo, but never boarded the bus. His whereabouts have remained unknown since then.
Business trip and last communication
The young man had traveled to Córdoba the previous Friday with the intention of finding work. He stayed in a hotel for one night and went out to explore the city with his backpack. On Monday night, he was seen on hotel cameras paying for his stay and leaving. The next day, he called his mother to let her know he was returning to Uruguay . He had cash from the sale of his motorcycle and had booked the ticket.

Hospital search and international complaint
His brothers traveled to Córdoba to assist with the search. They searched the terminal, requested access to security cameras, and began consulting local hospitals. The complaint was filed in Montevideo on Friday the 12th, and the Argentine police were also notified. Interpol is participating in the investigation.
Hypothesis and request for collaboration
The family suspects Bryan may have been the victim of a robbery . According to his mother, salaries in Córdoba were lower than in Uruguay, which is why he decided to return. “We don't know what happened.
