The phenomenon directly affects the departments of Artigas, Paysandú, Río Negro, Salto, Soriano, and Tacuarembó, with the entire jurisdiction included in the warning. In the case of Colonia, the towns under alert are Agraciada, Campana, Carmelo, Cerro Carmelo, Florencio Sánchez, and Ombúes de Lavalle. In Durazno, the warning applies to Baygorria; in Flores, to Andresito and Ismael Cortinas; and in Rivera, to Masoller. The statement also mentions the towns of Arerunguá, Piedra Sola, and Tambores in Tacuarembó.
Meteorologists note that the combination of warm, humid air and atmospheric instability increases the possibility of severe weather in specific areas. Although the warning remains at yellow, the probability of severe storms is greater than 75%, requiring extreme caution in the designated areas.

It is suggested that people avoid outdoor activities during periods of greatest instability, stay away from trees and metal structures, and avoid standing in waterways. It is also advisable to secure loose objects that could be blown away by gusts of wind.
