Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) President David Herrera has left the company after more than 10 years in the role as part of a strategic leadership shift, according to a statement filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings President and CEO Harry Sommer will assume Herrera's responsibilities on an interim basis while a thorough search for a successor is conducted.
Before joining the shipping giant, Herrera served as CEO of Bancroft Insurance Group for six months and, previously, as Vice President of Bernstein Global Wealth for a total of five years.
Despite this change, Norwegian Cruise Line remains committed to achieving its 2026 financial goals, as outlined in its "Charting the Course" plan.
Furthermore, the full-year outlook for 2025 remains unchanged, with an estimated adjusted net profit €897 million
