At least one Ukrainian civilian was killed and nine others were injured Saturday night in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine as a result of attacks carried out by Russian forces, which also caused material damage to several buildings and vehicles, local authorities reported.
According to the regional governor, Sergi Lisak, the Russian army used KAB-type guided aerial bombs and drones to carry out the attack, which caused several fires that have already been brought under control.
Specifically, the attacks took place in the Sinelnikove neighborhood, where at least seven homes and a bus were also damaged.
On the other hand, the Nikopol area has also been the target of FPV (first-person view) drone attacks
These attacks are part of Russia's strategy to periodically harass civilian infrastructure in multiple regions of Ukraine as part of its ongoing military offensive.
Likewise, in recent days, several incidents have been reported in Kherson, where Russian troops have attacked and persecuted civilians, according to the same media outlet.
These attacks come just a couple of days after a similar Russian offensive – using missiles and drones – targeting cities in western Ukraine left at least one dead and 26 injured , in addition to causing fires at a major electronics plant in Mukachevo and causing damage in nearby towns such as Lviv.
