Three more people killed by Russian airstrikes in Zaporizhia
Zelensky denounces the "deliberate murder of people and children"

At least seven people have died and around twenty others have been injured in a new attack carried out early Monday morning by Russian forces against the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, located in the east of the country.
The town's mayor, Igor Terezhov, stated in a message posted on his Telegram account that among the seven fatalities is a one-and-a-half-year-old girl. He also added that twenty people have already been injured and have had to be treated by emergency services.
Terekhov denounced the "targeted" attack by Russian forces on an apartment building with up to five suicide drones, while "peaceful residents" were sleeping peacefully. "Pure terror. Terror without explanation or justification," he said.
Kharkiv Governor Oleg Sinegubov reported that rescue efforts are continuing, and it is not ruled out that at least three more people are trapped under the rubble. "The military situation in the region remains quite difficult," he acknowledged on Telegram.
For his part, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky lamented that while kyiv is preparing to meet with Donald Trump and several European leaders in Washington this Monday to end the war, Russia continues its attacks. "It's absolutely revealing and cynical," he said on social media.
"Everyone wants a dignified peace and real security, and it is at this very moment that the Russians are attacking Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, the Sumi region, and Odessa," Zelensky lamented, calling what happened "a deliberate murder of people and children."
Meanwhile, another Russian airstrike has hit Zaporizhia, leaving three dead and twenty others injured, according to the province's governor, Ivan Fedorov.
Russia launched two Iskander missiles on Monday over the center of the province, hitting a shopping center and facilities considered critical.
