Consultation launched to encourage citizen participation in Salto and modernize procedures

by August 22, 2025

The Salto City Government launched a new digital tool to encourage citizen participation in Salto . It's a quick survey, accessible through social media and QR codes distributed throughout the city, that seeks to understand residents' experiences when completing procedures and using municipal services.

In just two minutes, any citizen can complete the form and share their opinions, ideas, or suggestions about the City Hall's operations. According to the Innovation and Development Department, the information collected will be key to identifying bottlenecks, streamlining processes, and guiding concrete improvements in public service.

“People's input is essential to building more efficient, accessible, and agile management,” said Pablo Da Cunda, coordinator of the initiative. The proposal is presented as a first step toward a deeper transformation of the relationship between the departmental government and the people of Salta.

An open channel for citizen participation in Salto

The survey will be available in the coming weeks. To participate, simply scan the QR code, which can be found in neighborhood centers, bus stops, public offices, and other high-traffic areas. It can also be accessed directly through the Salto government's official social media channels.

The form, designed to be simple and clear, includes questions about wait times for procedures, quality of service, availability of information, and overall user experience. It also provides a free space for residents to leave more specific suggestions or comments.

This strategy aims not only to improve the efficiency of the Municipality, but also to create a more direct connection with citizens. At a time when many feel their voices are not being heard, this tool seeks to reverse that perception, creating an active form of engagement.

On the other hand, digitalization also plays a key role. The municipality has been working for several years to modernize its services and reduce bureaucracy. Direct feedback from users can accelerate this process and guide priorities based on what truly matters to those who carry out these procedures every day.

Contribute to change

With this proposal, the Salto government seeks to build a more participatory approach to governance. Citizen participation in Salto is not limited to voting every five years: it can also be exercised by contributing ideas, pointing out problems, or recognizing improvements.

For many families, an improvement in municipal services represents a real relief. Less time in lines, clearer procedures, better information: everything helps when it comes to making ends meet without wasting time or patience. This consultation opens the door for these needs to have a direct channel of expression.

The survey is voluntary, anonymous, and open to all residents of the department. The Municipality invites active participation, emphasizing that every response counts toward building a more modern and efficient Salto.
