The 2025-26 Liga Endesa unveiled its 34-match schedule for the season on Monday, which will kick off on the weekend of October 4-5. The first domestic Clásico between Real Madrid and Barça is scheduled for Matchday 14 (January 3-4, 2026). The title race will kick off on Tuesday, June 2, next year, and continue until the end of the month, the league announced.
One week after the 2025 Endesa Málaga Super Cup (September 27-28), the league season will kick off on the first weekend of October (October 4-5). On Matchday 1, reigning champions Real Madrid will debut at home against Dreamland Gran Canaria, while the opening matchday also features a Valencia Basket-Barça clash.
Newly promoted San Pablo Burgos will once again enjoy a Liga Endesa match in front of their home crowd, hosting Bàsquet Girona on a weekend that will be completed with another half-dozen matches packed with attractions: Casademont Zaragoza-Baskonia, Coviran Granada-Joventut Badalona, Hiopos Lleida-Río Breogán, La Laguna Tenerife-BAXI Manresa, UCAM Murcia-MoraBanc Andorra and Unicaja-Surne Bilbao Basket.
On matchday 2 (October 11-12) Baskonia and Real Madrid will face each other, with eight other teams making their debut in front of their fans: Bàsquet Girona-UCAM Murcia, BAXI Manresa-Coviran Granada, Dreamland Gran Canaria-Unicaja, Joventut Badalona-Casademont Zaragoza, MoraBanc Andorra-La Laguna Tenerife, Río Breogán-Valencia Basket, Surne Bilbao Basket-San Pablo Burgos and the Barça-Hiopos Lleida derby.
Some of the biggest names in the summer transfer market will soon be facing their former rivals, as Rodions Kurucs visits Murcia and Luka Bozic visits Lleida on Matchday 4, while Rokas Giedratis returns to the Buesa Arena on Matchday 5 and Tornike Shengelia reunites with Baskonia on Matchday 7.
After Matchday 8 (November 22-23), the first break for the FIBA window arrives. Another of the summer's biggest names, Ricky Rubio, returns to the Palau on the weekend of December 20-21 (J11), kicking off an intense ACB Christmas season in style: Matchday 12 takes place on December 27-28, Matchday 13 takes place from December 29 to January 2, and Matchday 14, scheduled for January 3-4, features the Clásico between Real Madrid and Barça.
On January 24 and 25, on Matchday 17, the final lineup of teams qualified for the Copa del Rey will be decided, with exciting matches such as Barça-La Laguna Tenerife, Baskonia-Joventut, Unicaja-UCAM Murcia, and Dreamland Gran Canaria-Valencia Basket.
After Matchday 20, it will be the turn of the Copa del Rey Valencia 2026 (February 19-22) and then the second FIBA window will arrive, so the competition will resume the weekend of March 7 and 8, marked by the return of the Clásico, with Barça-Real Madrid on Matchday 23 (March 21-22).
Matchdays 33 (May 23-24) and 34 (May 28-30) will decide the regular season and, of course, the final draw for the Liga Endesa playoffs. The fight for the title will kick off on Tuesday, June 2, and will continue until the end of the month, meaning the season will conclude between June 22 and 28, depending on the number of matches needed to complete the semifinals and the final.
