The General Secretariat for Emigration of the Xunta (Galician Regional Government) reminds that the application period for the Entrepreneurial Return grant, intended to boost the entrepreneurial initiative of returning Galicians, remains open until September 30.

This year's call has a budget of one million euros, and these contributions provide financial support of up to 10,000 euros to launch a business project.

As explained by the Xunta in a statement, these grants are aimed at Galicians returning to their homeland, whether they were born in Galicia or in their destination countries, and are intended to cover expenses incurred in starting a business.

The grant will be €6,000, increasing by €1,000 if the beneficiary is a woman, and another €3,000 if the business is started in a rural municipality.

Thus, applicants can receive up to €10,000 in support to start their business. This will allow them to establish a permanent residence and integrate socially and professionally, carrying out their business and professional activities there, thereby also promoting the development of Galicia's business community.

These types of initiatives facilitate the reception of those who wish to start a new life in Galicia. Interested individuals can also obtain information on all types of return assistance at the Integrated Return Advisory and Follow-up Offices.
