This Wednesday, the El Sello de la Historia Education team held an outreach event at School No. 10 in the Salto Nuevo neighborhood of Salto, focusing on research into the Corralitos Battle.
During the activity, authentic military artifacts found on the battlefield were displayed. These objects, recovered through archaeological work, allowed students direct contact with the past. The event went beyond displaying relics: the methodological process that allows researchers to reconstruct historical events from material remains was also explained.
The approach was clear, rigorous, and tailored to the educational environment. The group's intention was to create an experience that combined science, memory, and territory, bringing students closer to a significant episode in national history.
Educator Pablo Texeira and Professor José Buslón participated for The Seal of History guided the analysis of the exhibits, and answered questions that arose during the discussion with the students.
