MADRID, 17 (EUROPA PRESS)
Cádiz beat Mirandés (1-0) this Sunday in the first matchday of LaLiga Hypermotion and Real Sociedad B returned to Second with a victory (1-0) against Real Zaragoza, while Huesca-Leganés and Las Palmas-Andorra ended 1-1.
The Cadiz-based side faced a difficult opening game with Iker Córdoba receiving a red card in the first minute, but Mirandés remained in the game and competed until the end at the Nuevo Mirandilla. A goal from Álvaro García Pascual in the 20th minute secured the three points for the Andalusians, who had had the best chance shortly before.
With the heat and fatigue, Cádiz opted to hold on to their lead, although Javier Ontiveros kept trying, as did De la Rosa's dagger. Mirandés had a chance to score in the second half, when Ismael Barea had a goal disallowed for a foul on the goalkeeper.
On the other hand, Real Sociedad B, returning to the Second Division four years later, lost their first game at Anoeta against a Real Zaragoza side that lacked accuracy and couldn't keep up with the pace in the second half. Job Ochieng decided Sanse's victory in the 35th minute.
Furthermore, in a night session at El Alcoraz, the first game on both benches for Sergi Guilló and Paco López, Dani Ojeda saved a draw (1-1) for Huesca with his goal in the 84th minute. The Canary Islander prevented the victory of a Leganés that had taken the lead in the second half after suffering in the first, thanks to Miguel de la Fuente.
Meanwhile, Las Palmas let victory slip away at Gran Canaria after taking an eighth-minute lead through Ale García's 1-0. The goal lulled the Canary Islands into a game of play, as they were left without the ball and waiting for a counterattack, and Andorra was in no hurry either. The match didn't get going until the end, when Sergio Barcia's own goal equaled 1-1, and Las Palmas searched for the win late and without success.
