Robbery at a watch shop: Piranha robbery in Carrasco alarms the neighborhood
This afternoon, September 8, 2025, six people entered a watch shop in the Carrasco neighborhood and carried out what police are calling a piranha robbery. The incident occurred at the intersection of Avenida General Rivera and Costa Rica; the criminals arrived on motorcycles and acted extremely quickly.
According to police sources consulted by this newspaper, the attackers smashed the windows with a sledgehammer and stole watches and some pieces of jewelry; after the attack, they fled the scene within minutes.
