MADRID, 21 (EUROPA PRESS)
Spanish-Argentine Pablo Maffeo, right-back for RCD Mallorca, has denied that the Vermillion team's coach, Jagoba Arrasate, asked him to leave a training session last Wednesday due to alleged bad behavior. The player feels "obliged to deny it" in order to "protect" his "image" and "reputation."
"In light of the information published today, Thursday, August 21, 2025, in the digital edition of 'Marca' about me, I want to clarify that it is completely false that the manager kicked me out of training yesterday," Maffeo posted this Thursday on his official Instagram account.
"I feel obliged to deny this to protect my image and defend my reputation. The club and I stand together in the face of false situations and information like this, which cannot be allowed. I am fully available and training as best I can. Here's to Mallorca!" the Mallorcan player concluded his message.
