MADRID, 20 (EUROPA PRESS)
The Israeli army announced Wednesday that it has killed Mohamed Naif Abu Shamla, a member of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) who participated in the October 7, 2023, attacks in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed in a statement posted on its Telegram channel that they "eliminated" the commander of the Nukhba unit—the cell that planned and directed the aforementioned attacks—on August 13.
Israeli forces have also asserted that the fighter "promoted numerous terrorist plots against the IDF and the State of Israel" during the nearly two years of the military offensive against the Palestinian enclave.
"The IDF and the Shin Bet will continue to act decisively against the terrorists who participated in the murderous massacre of October 7," they stated.
