The Israeli army announced on Monday the dismantling of a Hamas cell following one of its attacks last week against a cemetery in the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Thus, he specified that the entire alleged cell—made up of several armed men—has been "neutralized," according to a statement released by the Israeli Armed Forces.
In this regard, they explained that the attack occurred after Kfir Brigade soldiers detected several "Hamas operatives" during a series of "reconnaissance operations" in the vicinity of the cemetery.
According to the military, these men "posed a threat to the troops nearby," so the Army proceeded to attack "with a drone." The soldiers later found assault rifles, grenades, and explosive devices.
