Real Valladolid won 0-1 in their visit to CD Castellón thanks to a goal from Juanmi Latasa, in an early match of a LaLiga Hypermotion matchday 2 that this Friday also saw SD Eibar win 3-0 against Granada CF and CD Leganés draw (1-1) with Cádiz CF.
The first leg of the match opened at Ipurua Stadium, where Javier Martón put the home side ahead in the 22nd minute. Anaitz Arbilla made it 2-0 in the 60th minute, and Álvaro Rodríguez scored the third goal 10 minutes later for the Armeros, who now have four points in the standings, leaving the Granada team bottom of the table and still without a point.
Meanwhile, at the SkyFi Castalia Stadium, the visitors secured victory thanks to a solitary goal from Latasa just before halftime, heading in a cross from Croatian Stipe Biuk from the right wing off a corner. Valladolid currently sits at the top of the table with six points, while Castellón remains at zero.
Finally, at Butarque, Naím García put the home side ahead in first-half stoppage time after a sprint and low pass from Duk down the left flank, and Brian Ocampo equalized in the 70th minute with a right-footed volley from a corner. Cádiz currently has four points, while Lega has two.
