Swedish center back Carl Starfelt will be out for approximately a month with a grade I tear in the hamstring of his left leg, according to a statement from the Galician team issued Tuesday.

"The MRI revealed that Carl Starfelt has a grade I tear of the hamstring in his left leg," the club reported on its social media.

The 30-year-old Swedish footballer, who participated in five of the Galician club's six preseason friendlies, was unable to participate due to injury in the EA Sports 2025-26 LaLiga debut against Getafe at Balaídos last Sunday, which ended in a 2-0 win for the visitors. He will now be out of action for approximately a month.
