MADRID, 19 (EUROPA PRESS)
The Ipsos board of directors announced this Tuesday the appointment of Jean-Laurent Poitou as the firm's new CEO, replacing Ben Page, who will continue in his role until September 15.
According to the published press release, the goal is to provide Ipsos with the necessary "momentum" to adopt and implement a "realistic and credible growth plan."
Poitou is an engineer graduated from the École Polytechnique and is familiar with emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), and especially with methods that facilitate its implementation in companies.
The executive spent more than 30 years at Accenture, in Europe, the United States, and Asia, where he held international senior management positions. He then led Alvarez & Marsal's digital and technology services in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for the past four years.
"I am delighted and determined to lead Ipsos into its next phase of growth, as the company approaches fifty years of exceptional market leadership, global expansion, and service diversification through acquisitions and innovation," Poitou explained.
"Having spent 38 years at Ipsos, where I joined MORI (now Ipsos UK) as an intern and later, for many years, as CEO in the UK and Ireland and, since 2021, as CEO of Ipsos, now is a good time to hand over the reins at 60," said Page.
