MADRID, 16 (EUROPA PRESS)

High-speed rail service between Madrid and Galicia will remain interrupted until at least noon on Sunday, August 17, due to the fires affecting the province of Ourense.

"The evolution of the fires in Ourense means that the high-speed rail service between Madrid and Galicia will remain interrupted, at least until midday this Sunday," Adif confirmed in a message published on the social network X, reported by Europa Press.

Adif teams continue to inspect the infrastructure to rule out possible damage.

This decision comes after several days of service cuts on this line, carried out at the request of the Fire Department and Civil Protection, and motivated by the fires in Ourense and Zamora.

Renfe has reminded passengers affected by these fires via social media that ticket changes or cancellations are allowed free of charge.
