Renfe launches special trains between Madrid and Zamora
MADRID, 18 (EUROPA PRESS)
High-speed service between Madrid and Galicia will remain suspended early this Monday, August 18th, marking five consecutive days of no service.
"The high-speed line will remain closed early in the morning between Sanabria and Ourense. Therefore, all trains between Galicia and Madrid are canceled until 9:30 a.m.," Renfe announced in a message on the social network 'X'.
In this regard, the public company has emphasized that at that time, "the situation will be reviewed again" and information will be updated. Yesterday, traffic was permanently suspended due to the "poor progress" of the fires.
Renfe has once again reminded passengers that if their train is cancelled, they can change or cancel their ticket free of charge.
Due to the ongoing fires, the company has also announced several special trains for today between Madrid and Zamora, with departures from the capital at 7:14 a.m., 1:20 p.m., and 8:23 p.m.; and from Zamora at 8:40 a.m., 2:36 p.m., and 10:00 p.m.
