Xiaomi, the Chinese manufacturer of mobile phones, electric vehicles, and other devices, recorded net attributable profit of 11.904 billion yuan (1.419 billion euros) in the second quarter of 2025, representing a 133% increase compared to the result recorded by the company between April and June of last year.

The Chinese manufacturer's turnover in the quarter reached a total of 115,956 million yuan (13,819 million euros), 30.5% more than in the second quarter of 2024, exceeding the threshold of 100,000 million yuan (11,918 million euros) for the third consecutive quarter, with an advance of 14.7% in the smartphone and Internet of Things (IoT) business, up to 94,693 million yuan (11,285 million euros).

Specifically, smartphone sales between April and June totaled 45.52 billion yuan (5.425 billion euros ), a 2% decrease, while the IoT area invoiced 38.712 billion yuan (4.614 billion euros), a 44.7% increase, and the Internet services business a 10% increase, reaching 9.098 billion yuan (1.084 billion euros).

The Chinese manufacturer emphasized that, despite overall pressure on the global smartphone market during the second quarter, the business demonstrated resilience both in China and abroad, achieving global shipments of 42.4 million units, marking the eighth consecutive quarter of year-over-year growth.

Thus, according to Canalys data, Xiaomi's global market share by shipments was 14.7% in the second quarter of 2025, placing it among the top three globally for the twentieth consecutive quarter.

On the other hand, Xiaomi indicated that the electric vehicle business reported revenues of 21.263 billion yuan (2.534 billion euros) to the company in the quarter, which represented more than triple the previous year (+234%) and 18.3% of the company's total revenues in the quarter, when a year earlier the turnover of this division represented around 7% of the revenues.

The Chinese company emphasized that this revenue growth in the second quarter of the year was primarily due to an increase in both vehicle deliveries and the average retail price. Specifically, vehicle deliveries increased by 197.7%, rising from 27,307 units in the second quarter of 2024 to 81,302 units in the second quarter of 2025.

Likewise, the retail price increased by 10.9%, from 228,644 (27,249 euros) per unit in the second quarter of 2024 to 253,662 yuan (30,231 euros) per unit in the second quarter of 2025, mainly due to deliveries of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, with a higher retail price.

Thus, in the first half of 2025, the Chinese company recorded a net attributable profit of 22.829 billion yuan (2.721 billion euros), 146% more than in the first half of the previous year, while revenue increased by 38.2% year-on-year, reaching 227.249 billion yuan (27.083 billion euros).
