The Príncipe Felipe Pavilion in San Javier (Murcia) will host a friendly indoor soccer match on August 26th at 8:30 p.m. between ElPozo Murcia Costa Cálida FS and Brazilian side SC Corinthians, according to municipal sources in a statement.
The Regional Director General of Sports, Fran Sánchez, expressed his gratitude to the municipality for its welcome and mentioned during the presentation that admission will be free, inviting residents and visitors to enjoy this preseason event for the charcuterie team.
San Javier's Sports Councilor, Sergio Martínez, said that the municipality "is proud to host this match and bring our children and local clubs closer to professional sports in their own home," and noted that the youth players train daily in the same arena where they can now watch their idols.
Fran Serrejón, general manager of ElPozo Murcia Costa Cálida, stated that "playing in San Javier is like being at home" and emphasized that the match can also be followed live on the Murcia team's YouTube channel.
