The Concordia Prefecture , with support from the Salto Prefecture, reported this Tuesday the discovery of a 22-year-old Argentine man who had jumped into the river on Friday. The search operation was activated following a family report and continued throughout the weekend.

According to initial investigations, the young man's entourage indicated that he was having a family argument prior to his disappearance. It was also reported that he frequently hung out on the riverbank. With this information, the teams identified a priority area for river searches and patrols.
