FC Barcelona unveiled their third kit for the current season on Tuesday, a "bright mango" shirt that pays tribute to the six-time club champions' title triumph in 2009, which culminated in the Club World Cup. The Blaugrana wore an orange shirt in the final, which is the inspiration for this new kit.
"FC Barcelona's third kit for the 2025/26 season exudes victory. Bright mango is the star of a shirt inspired by the orange kit the first team wore in the Club World Cup final in December 2009. A triumph that marked the culmination of the historic six-team title and the sublimation of a style of play that has left an indelible mark on the world of football," the Blaugrana club explained in a statement.
In 2009, the Blaugrana team became the first team in history to achieve the sextuple, and they achieved it after beating Club Estudiantes de La Plata of Argentina (1-2) in extra time after Pedro had forced it in the 89th minute. A key match in the history of the 'culer' club, which that night wore an orange shirt, which this third kit is inspired by.
The jersey, which is now available in club stores, captures the essence of the Total90 range of sports products that Nike popularized in the early 2000s and characterized by its groundbreaking designs.
The bright mango color predominates in the kit, which features several navy blue details in the form of stripes on the collar and back and stripes that form a geometric shape on the front, with the Spotify logo in the center.
To accompany the promotion of this new jersey, the club has launched the "We Define Tomorrow" campaign—which began with the release of the home kit—a new audiovisual content focused on victories.
