Allianz has strengthened its special protocol for extraordinary events to support customers affected by the forest fires currently raging in several autonomous communities (Castilla y León, Galicia, Extremadura, and Asturias).
In a statement, it said it would maintain its vigilance and protocol in light of forecasts indicating that wildfires could persist for the next few days.
The insurer launched a dedicated follow-up effort two weeks ago, following the first fires in various locations across the country. Since then, it has called customers living in both the affected and nearby areas to learn about their situation and provide them with any services they may need immediately.
In addition, the company will provide advisory and information services to all its customers through a toll-free number. At the same time, it has alerted its network of experts to prioritize fire-related cases and has strengthened its digital assessment systems.
The company has also implemented additional measures, such as strengthening its processing teams and specific helplines for this type of event.
