MADRID, 15 (EUROPA PRESS)
Adif announced this Friday that high-speed rail service between Madrid and Galicia will remain suspended for at least the first half of Saturday, as a result of the fires affecting Ourense.
"The evolution of the fires in Ourense puts railway operations at risk, with fires close to tracks and tunnels, according to @112 Galicia," Adif reported in a message published on the social network X, picked up by Europa Press.
This decision comes after several days of service cuts on this line, carried out at the request of the Fire Department and Civil Protection, and motivated by the fires in Ourense and Zamora.
Renfe has reminded passengers affected by these fires via social media that ticket changes or cancellations are allowed free of charge.
