Violent crime in Córdoba: he was murdered in front of his home.

Violence has struck the city of Córdoba once again. A man was shot dead outside his home in the Nueva Ferreyra neighborhood, in an incident that has the community on edge. According to police sources, the victim was attacked as he left his home and, seriously injured, was rushed to the Emergency Room, where he died a few minutes later.

The investigation was handed over to Prosecutor Lourdes Quagliatti of the 2nd District Attorney's Office, First Shift, who ordered the Homicide Division to intervene. For now, no hypothesis has been ruled out: from an attempted robbery to a settling of scores or a prior argument. Forensic experts are working on the spent shell casings found at the scene and reviewing security cameras to identify the shooter.

This crime follows another recent incident that shocked Córdoba . At the end of July, Ignacio Villagra, a 22-year-old man, was found dead in a public street in the Argüello Lourdes neighborhood. He suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and died at the scene, despite the rapid arrival of emergency services.

Neighbors in the area reported hearing a gunshot and screams, although they were unable to determine how many people were involved. The case is being handled by prosecutor Tomás Casas of the 2nd District Attorney's Office, Shift 7, who ordered the preservation of the scene and the collection of ballistic evidence. Lines of investigation include a possible personal conflict or robbery .

Both cases reflect the growing concern over urban violence in the province and the urgency of clarifying the facts in order to bring those responsible to justice.
